Princess Morning Routine

Do you ever want to wake up in the morning like a princess?  Usually when I wake up, I can hear the breeze and the birds singing.  It gives me a good start to my morning.    It is time to rise and shine!  Get ready for your day to start!

The number one thing we all can relate with is we feel tiredness when we wake up.  The first thing I do when I hear my alarm is hit the snooze button and fall right back to sleep.  Waking up trains your body and mind to get a head start of your day.  It also improves your mindset, blood pressure, and mood.  Other than that,  l feel like I’m making a fresh start to my day.

When I was a little girl, I used to watch Cinderella and did what she used to do in the morning to get me motivated for the day.  I would wake up from my beauty rest to stretch and sing while I do my casual morning routine.

Soft Morning Stretch

Doing your morning stretches makes you beautiful and relieves stress.  It increases your blood flow and prepares your body to move. It’s a good way to get rid of your pain and gives you flexibility.  Do not overstretch because it causes more pain.

 You can also start your morning by doing yoga stretches, abs workout in bed, and stretching your arms first thing you wake up.

Wake up early and watch the sunrise 

If you plan to wake up early to start your morning, I highly recommend that you go to bed early.  

Watching the sunrise works well on your nervous system to lower depression and anxiety.  The sunrise boosts your mood by relieving stress.  You can take the advantage while watching the sunrise by beauty, gratitude, and healing.  The more you feel closer to natural light the more you feel healthy.

Make a Healthy Breakfast and drink coffee 

Let me tell you one thing about myself, I can’t go a day without coffee.  

The most common thing that everyone says is “breakfast is the most important meal of the day.” and we must stick to it.  My favorite healthy breakfasts are eggs, meat, smoothies, waffles, oatmeal, and fruit bowls.  

Take a nice warm shower 

If you’re still recovering from a long day from yesterday, taking a warm shower helps wash away the dirt to make you feel clean and relieves stress.  

If you shower daily, then I highly recommend you not to take hot showers because it will dry your skin. If you don’t have time to shower before you leave for work or doing your errands, then you can do it when you come home to wash away the stress of your day.

The more you keep track of your hygiene is the more you feel fresh and clean about your body.

Pet your animal

If you have a pet at home, you may want to consider giving them attention at home to calm your nerves and get some emotional support.  Us human beings are more social towards our animals by showing their love and attention towards them.  Having a pet is also a good way to improve your relationship with other people.

Do your morning skincare routine

It’s always good to start your morning with a nice skin care routine. You do it whether you are in the shower, in front of your sink,  and drinking water.  If you want to keep track of your skincare you must wash your face twice a day, drink 2 liters of water daily, and avoid anything that could damage your skin.

Skins care is important because you can avoid breakouts, treat your wrinkles, and keep your skin clear.  The more you stick with the routine the more your skin glows.

If you want to prevent your skin from breaking out, clean your face more, do some meditation to relieve stress, and hydrate.

Apply your makeup lightly

Following up on the skincare routine, you can apply your make up next.  If you want to leave the house with make up, I suggest wearing very light makeup if you want to go more for the classy and elegant look.  If you wear too much makeup, then it can cause your skin to break out and dry. 

Before the pandemic started, I used to not leave the house wearing foundation. When I wear makeup I mostly apply light eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, blush, contour, highlights, and lipstick.  I only apply concealer to get rid of the circle from under my eyes and foundations traditionally.

You don’t need too much makeup to hide your true beauty.

Brush your beautiful hair 

Brushing your hair is one of the therapeutic ways of getting ready every morning.

You want to brush your hair twice a day.   I brush my hair when I’m about to leave the house and before I get in the shower.  The reason why you don’t want to brush your hair too much is because it can cause your hair to get damaged.

It is important to brush your hair because it helps strengthen it by keeping it healthy and brushing the tangles out.  Also it massages your scalp which relieves stress and calms my mood. 

Say something nice about yourself in the mirror 

When I look in the mirror, I always admire how beautiful I am for the first time of the day. I tell myself that I can do it and today is gonna be a great day.  I would talk to myself in the mirror when I first wake up every morning and when I have a breakdown.  Every time I look in the mirror, I always talk about positive things to myself to make my day better. 

Spread an act of kindness

We were reminded throughout elementary, middle, and high school to be kind and respectful towards others.  An act of kindness gives you and other people the feeling of warmth and the feeling of gratitude.  

Kindness does count!

Throw on your beautiful clothes

Put on a beautiful dress or something that you want to express yourself with.

You always want to dress when you can feel like yourself or what you’re comfortable in.  The more that you dress as yourself the more that you are going to feel self-confident.

Go on out there and express your style.

Read a book and have a cup of tea

When you have time to spare for the morning, you can read a book while you watch the sunrise or eat breakfast.  When you have herbal tea alongside reading, it can help you relieve stress and keep you in a good mindset.  I sometimes start my day drinking tea when I feel unmotivated and stressed to help me get through the day.
